Greenhill Manor

Greenhill Manor is comprised of a recent new build and a historic house, the original Greenhill. This house comes with a rich history. Both Hillside (lower down the hill) and Greenhill were built in the late 1930’s by BHP to be used as house & guest accommodation. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester stayed at Greenhill in 1946 and the Queen visited during the 1970’s.  Both houses are surrounded by a substantial acreage of garden designed originally by the renowned Paul Sorenson.

When the time came to choose furniture & finishes it was important to carry forward the long and proud tradition of the property .  This was done as a collaboration between Crown & Greenhill with superb results.

Versatile Zecca dining tables were chosen and partnered with Courlay Armchairs in the house and Lara armchairs in the new build, the table looking equally good with both chairs.

In the reception area, which looks out onto the verdant gardens, Enrico single lounges were chosen which reflect the art deco era and colours of the 1930’s.

Upstairs a room was made over as a conservatory, a place to have a coffee,  and  relax with friends and family while enjoying the vista of the  gardens. Fitted out with our indoor/outdoor Questelle chairs & indoor Spin tables, this room more than delivers.
